§⚠️ Critical Legal Notice — Bahria Town Karachi (BTK)

IMPORTANT: Bahria Town Karachi has been the subject of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SMC No. 3/2018) proceedings regarding alleged illegal land acquisition. The Supreme Court imposed a PKR 460 billion fine on Bahria Town Karachi in 2019. As a result, BTK has a special legal status with ongoing proceedings that affect property rights. All BTK buyers must understand these proceedings before investing.

Unlike DHA (which has a statutory ordinance), Bahria Town is a private limited company that:

Bahria Town does all transfers internally:

  1. Buyer and seller visit Bahria Town Customer Service

  5. Bahria issues Transfer Letter in buyer's name
  6. Buyer receives updated Member File
